Advanced training in select courses, especially Betazoid telepathic and empathic abilities, was completed at the Psyche Enhancement and Education university on Betazed.

Specialties:

Like most Betazoids, Destiny has considerable empathic abilities. However, unlike most hybrids between Betazoids and other, non-telepathic species, she has retained some of the telepathic abilities passed on by her father, though they are significantly less advanced than those of a full-blooded Betazoid.

Interests:

Destiny enjoys a myriad of recreational distractions. Dance, especially of the erotic variety, is her favorite pastime, though she does enjoy snowboarding Mt. Kilimanjaro on the holodeck whenever she gets the opportunity.

Career History:

Signed up with the Academy on Stardate 56182.9, with the goal of one day becoming Captain of her own vessel. Designing to go into the field of Security, she hopes to round out her career with a bit of diplomacy as a VIP bodyguard.

Father Jusryn, a Lt. Commander in Starfleet, was killed on duty in a random accident as Asst. Chief Engineer of the Orion Colony. Extensive plasma burns listed as cause of death. Mother Marie, a civilian, still lives aboard the colony. Currently remarried, with no other children.
